How do I become a client of Sanare?
1. Initial phone call with Briana Severine, our founder, preliminarily determine if PSR services might be appropriate and answer any specific questions.
2. Free 30 minute consultation – with Sanare team members in our office. This is a time for us to get to know each other and see if we might be a good fit. You are welcome to bring along any family or support people if you choose.
3. Engagement with Sanare team and development of treatment goals.
How much support can you provide me each week?
We will talk with you to determine what amount of support is clinically indicated as well as what is financially feasible to determine your treatment plan.
We see clients anywhere from one visit to five visits per week.
Our clients have flexibility to add additional support during difficult times as needed.
How long does this treatment take?
There is no standard period of time that our clients work with us at Sanare. As we work with clients with a diverse range of mental health diagnosis that are impacting their functioning, no two clients are the same.
We have clients that we work with for a short time on specific areas that they would like to see progress on and we have many clients that we work with long-term to maintain their stability and functioning across many areas.
What is the cost?
Costs vary depending on the individualized plan developed for each client.
Our standard rate is $150 per hour.
During an intake appointment, costs can be discussed based on the client’s individualized treatment plan and the service hours requested, recommended, or required.
Are your services covered by private insurance?
Psychosocial Rehabilitation is not covered by private insurance. Due to the intensity and individuality of services Sanare does not bill or deal directly with any insurance companies.
We can speak with you more about a superbill for services if you have out of network benefits. We cannot guarantee any amount or reimbursement, or reimbursement at all, from your insurance company and ask that you are comfortable with the self-pay cost.
Are you services covered by Medicaid?
We have limited availability for Colorado Access members who live in the Denver Metro Area through our internship program. Clients who have Colorado Access must be clinically appropriate for our services and willing to work with Social Work or Forensic Psychology Interns under the supervision of Licensed Professionals.
We are currently closed to Medicaid Clients
What if I already have a therapist or psychiatrist?
We don’t replace the relationship that you have with other treatment providers. We are able to work in conjunction with them to provide you with a robust system of support.
We are always willing to speak to your current treatment team to answer any questions that they might have to support you in determining if we are a good addition to the team.
How do I know who on the Sanare Team I should work with?
After the initial consultation, we will pair you up with at least two members of our Sanare team. We work as a team so that our clients always have consistent mental health coverage.
How is a PSR with Sanare different than having a coach?
Therapists are trained professionals who hold advanced degrees in mental health fields, such as psychology or social work, and are licensed by state boards to diagnose and treat a variety of mental health conditions. This clinical expertise allows therapists to provide evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each individual’s needs.
While PSR integrates things that are a part of coaching such as goal setting, teaching skills, and support to achieve goals, as mental health clinicians we are able to ensure the appropriate training to address the mental health aspects of the barriers to success.
Do you work with adolescents, children, or teens?
Sanare PSR is only able to work with clients aged 18 and older. Please contact us and we are happy to refer you out to similar organizations that work with children.
What is your service area?
Sanare PSR currently serves the Denver Metro Areas. This includes Denver, Arapahoe, Adams, Broomfield, and Douglas Counties. Please feel free to give us a call to find out if your location is within our service area.
What is the no surprises act, and how does it apply to Sanare?
The No Surprises Act is a federal law designed to protect patients from unexpected medical bills, particularly when receiving care from out-of-network providers in emergency situations or non-emergency situations where a patient had no control over the provider’s network status. In a cash-pay mental health practice in Colorado, such as Sanare, the law may not apply in the same way it would for insurance-based practices, as we do not involve insurance billing.
However, it’s still important for us to be transparent about their pricing and ensure patients are fully aware of the costs upfront. We have a clear and easy to understand Financial Agreement that is available for review prior to signing on for services.
