Audrey is a dedicated mental health professional who has a passion for providing trauma-informed care. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where she developed a strong foundation in psychological principles and practices.
To further her education, Audrey attended the University of Denver, where she obtained her master’s degree from the Graduate School of Professional Psychology's International Disaster Psychology program. Her education in this rigorous program emphasized global mental health and acute trauma, equipping her with the necessary skills to address the diverse needs of individuals affected by various adverse experiences.
Throughout her two years of intensive internships, Audrey honed her clinical skills by providing evidence-based treatment to a wide range of populations. This hands-on experience allowed her to understand the complex interplay of cultural factors and individual experiences in the therapeutic process, further solidifying her commitment to inclusive care. During this time Audrey got more education and experience on working directly with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
After completing her graduate studies, Audrey transitioned to a role as a pre-licensed therapist, where she provided therapy services at a community mental health center to children and adolescents who are dually diagnosed with developmental disabilities alongside mental health concerns.
Audrey believes in the importance of fostering resilience in her clients, helping them navigate their challenges with confidence.
She is particularly passionate about offering individualized therapeutic care that emphasizes her clients' strengths and creative approaches to problem-solving. Audrey hopes to be a source of empowerment for her clients helping them navigate their real-world challenges with confidence. Her dedication to enhancing the well-being of vulnerable populations drives her work, and she continuously seeks opportunities for professional development and collaboration with other mental health professionals.
In her free time, Audrey enjoys playing guitar, drawing, dancing, reading, and spending time with her two cats and friends.
